Our reception, lobby, restaurant and bar are very well served by pleasant natural light. International and typical Portuguese food is offered to our guests in Magistrado Restaurant, seating up to 120 people. Buffet breakfast is available from 07:30 to 10:30, lunch from 12:30 to 15:00 and dinner from 19:30 to 22:00. The guest can also enjoy a drink from 10:30 to 01:00 in our Magistrado bar and on Thursday and Friday evenings while listening to live music. On Saturday evenings the client may also appreciate the piano music.

From the A1: Coming from the A1 - Lisbon - Oporto, exit the motorway at Coimbra-Sul. After the toll gates, follow Av. Professor Mário Silva (highway to Taveiro) towards the town centre. Once you have reached the Açude Bridge, turn into the first street on the right, towards Rua Padre Estêvão Cabral, and the junction with Av. Fernão de Magalhães. At the Fernão de Magalhães roundabout, turn right and follow the Avenue until you arrive at some traffic lights. At the second set of traffic lights, turn left, on Rua Dr. Manuel Rodrigues until you reach Rua da Sofia. Turn left, pass in front of the Law Courts and turn left again. You have entered the Rua João Machado. On your right, you will find the Tivoli Coimbra.

It is a “market cuisine” because it uses only the freshest ingredients available. Our chefs use vegetables and herbs organically grown on our own grounds. In our restaurant, Arcadas da Capela, that has one Michelin star, you will be able to savour aromatic herbs from our chef’s garden and oranges, lemons and avocados from our orchard, as well as the raspberries and wild watercress that grow all over the Quinta. Our other restaurant, Aqua, offers a casual dining experience and a Latin food concept. The gastronomy at Quinta das Lágrimas is the delicious result of the collaboration between our chef, Albano Lourenço, and our consultant chef, Joachim Koerper. By Taxi: - Take a taxi from the station for around EUR 5, as Casa Pombal has a hill top location. By Car: - Follow the signs for Centro and Praça da Republica till you come to a large avenue (Sa da Bandeira). - At that avenue, turn into Padre Antonio Vieira. - At the top of that road (before a sharp curve to the left) park your car around there. - Then walk into the Rua da Matematica and at the bottom you will find Rua das Flores.
