By Car (from Faro Airport): - On leaving the airport, go down the airport approach road until reaching the fork in the road (approximately 2 km) with the signs for Faro/ Espanha to the right. - Then go on straight ahead (the road veers slightly to the left) and follow the signs for the IP1 and Portimão/ Albufeira. - This leads you over the EN125 and brings you down onto the west-bound lane of this road. - Travel for approximately 4 km the road then forks with the right hand lane signposted to Almancil and the left-hand lane signposted to IP1 Lisboa and Loulé. - Get in to the left-hand lane and follow the dual carriageway for 3.5 km. - Then take the right turn onto the slip road signposted to Albufeira, Lisboa and Portimão. - This slip road will bring you onto the new Via Infante motorway (becoming the A22). You should continue along this motorway, passing Albufeira and following signs for Portimão, leaving the motorway (A22) at junction 6 following the signs for Lagoa & Silves. - On leaving the A22 follow signs to Lagoa and Carvoeiro (signposted with a brown coloured sign). - The road eventually turns a sharp right and brings you onto the EN125. Pass by the roundabout and at the set of traffic lights, just after the large Wine Factory on your right-hand side, you will see signs on the right for Carvoeiro; turn to the right at these traffic lights. - Now follow this road to Carvoeiro. Approximately 1,5km after you join this road to Carvoeiro, you must follow the left fork (in the roundabout after PLUS hypermarket). - This fork bears signs for Sesmarias to the right, but make sure you stay left, in the direction of Carvoeiro. - Stay on this road until you pass the Intermarche hypermarket on your right. - Approximately 100 m after the hypermarket, there is a left turn with a small restaurant called Edra on your left as you take this turn. - Continue, following Rocha Brava signs for 3 km and then turn right (again following the Rocha Brava sign) for 750 m. - You will come to Rocha Brava. If you miss this right turn you will end up in the fishing village of Benagil. - Enter Rocha Brava and then take the first left, where you will find the reception. - Have a safe journey.

There is a quick connection between Faro to Solferias, in the direction of Portimão (motorway); before Portimão, leave the motorway in the direction of Lagoa, and follow the signs for Carvoeiro. After the 2nd traffic lights, turn right to Carvoeiro, and 4km after Lagoa you will see a petrol station and yellow signs for Solferias (the patrol-station is called "CEPSA"). 200m after this, turn right up the hill for another 400m, the hotel is on the left side. From Lisbon to Solferias, you take the motorway A2 down to the Algarve - Faro (+-250km) and go into the direction of Portimão (A22 motorway). Before Portimão, turn right, and leave the motorway to Lagoa. Now follow the signs for Carvoeiro, and turn to the right at the 2nd traffic lights to Carvoeiro. Carvoeiro: Located 350 metres from the hotel, Carvoeiro overlooks the sea and is surrounded by a magnificent rocky coastline. Carvoeiro's main church, which stems from the 16th century, was built in in true Manueline style. Lagoa: São José Convent is an 18th century building with a chapel boasting a gilt wood-carved altar. At the door, the old revolving panel used to receive unwanted babies. The convent now hosts a variety of events and exhibitions. Lagoa's main church, a 16th century building, of which only a Manueline doorway exists, was rebuilt towards the end of the 18Ith century. Note the elegant baroque façade and neoclassical influence. Vila de Porches: Famous for its ceramics and pottery, this is where you can actually watch the pieces being made and painted. From the Airport: By Car: - Follow the main road. - After approximately 4 km take the exit to the right in the direction of Lisbon, Portimao and Albufeira. - Follow the road in the direction of the A22/IP 1 (name of the highway between east and west of the Algarve). - After approximately 11 km take the highway in the direction of Lisbon, Portimao and Lagos. - The highway takes you west, passing Loulé, Boliqueime, Vilamoura and Albufeira. - The highway IP 1 goes north in the direction of Lisbon. - Stay on in the direction of Lagos. - After another 20 km, take the exit for Lagoa/Silves and then follow the signs to Carvoeiro. - At the 2nd traffic light in Lagoa turn right in the direction of Carvoeiro. - After approximataly 500 metres, turn right at the roundabout in the direction of Sesmarias. - At the roundabout that follows you go straight up to the next square where you turn slightly to the right and follow the signs for Quinta do Paraiso and Sesmarias. - After approximately 300 metres you turn left following the sign for Quinta do Paraiso. - Drive down the road through the resort until you reach the reception. While you are in the reception, please do not leave any valuables in the car and lock the car.
